Edersee
The Edersee is a paradise for leisure and holiday fun in the magnificent mountain landscape of nature and the Kellerwald-Edersee national park. Around 100 years ago, the massive dam which blocks the Edertal created this enchanting seascape of 27 km in length. With its excellent water quality, the Edersee offers all the activities that are possible on a lake to those who are into watersports. Beaches, outdoor pools, and waterfronts are perfect for carefree bathing and strolling. Many bays are a true paradise for anglers, while in others, surfers, sailors, water skiers or divers are to be found.
